This formulation’s primary component is the biochemical action of being mediated in part by up-regulation of the endogenous analgesia system (ESA). Enkephalins and serotonin are primary neurotransmitters in the ESA and establishing an increase in their activity directs the probability of potentiating ESA mediated analgesia (pain relief).
Body Comfort is directed with influencing this process. The formulation allows for a more capable endogenous transport mechanism which enables an adequate delivery system via the cells of the blood brain barrier. These cells actively transport metabolic products across the BBB.*
